"There are so
many gems from Broadway, new and old, that it is hard to narrow them down
for one evening, so I try to ensure the listener hears a range of composers,
styles, and emotions. When performing the classics, I sometimes love to
create new arrangements that expose the song in a different way, bathing
them in a new color. And then there are the ever increasing number of
new masterpieces from Sondheim, Schwartz, Webber, or Ahrens & Flaherty.
I love traveling the decades, from 'There's A Boat Dat's Leavin' Soon
For New York,' to
'I Have Dreamed,' and 'Bring Him Home,' all in the same evening."
