On April 24th, 2006 at 6:45pm, a special one night only concert version of Rent will be held at the Nederlander Theater celebrating the musical's 10th anniversary which officially take place on April 29th. Tickets range from $1,000 to $25,000. Tickets include a post-performance dinner and dancing. According to the New York Theater Workshop Website, tickets will be sold by invitation only. If you are interested in purchasing tickets in that price range e-mail rent10@nytw.org to request an inviation. You must include your name and the street address to which you would like your invitation mailed to once they become available. Also according to the website, "in keeping with Rent tradition, tickets for the first two rows of the theater will be available on the day of the event for $20 by lottery. There will be a total of 34 tickets, with a limit of two tickets per person. The lottery will be held on Monday, April 24 at the Nederlander Theatre, 208 West 41 Street. Registration cards will be handed out beginning at 2pm for a drawing to take place at 3pm for that evenings benefit. No line-ups for registration forms will be allowed prior to 1pm. Tickets must be paid for in cash. Twenty dollar tickets are for the benefit performance only and are only available by lottery they are not available by phone or on the internet." Scheduled to take part in the event include Gilles Chiasson, Taye Diggs, Wilson Jermaine Heredia, Rodney Hicks, Kristen Lee Kelly, Jesse L. Martin, Idina Menzel, Aiko Nakasone, Timothy Britten Parker, Adam Pascal, Anthony Rapp, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Gwen Stewart, Byron Utley, Darius de Haas, and Fredi Walker-Browne.
